Manuel Alvarez Bravo, London 1980
Manuel Alvarez Bravo (1902-2002) started a movement of photography that is unseen today! Most famous for his Post-Revolutionary picture "Obrero en huelga, asesinado", striking worker assassinated. He also documented the work of Diego Rivera, which whom also befriended and encouraged Manuel. Although not classified as a Surrealist, he definitely played a monumental role in 19th Century Surrealism Mexican art. Find more of his work at New York Museum of Modern Art
